FindAm is Cameroon's #1 online marketplace connecting buyers and vendors across the country. We operate the website at findam.co and the FindAm Vendor mobile application.

Information you provide directly:

• Account information — name, email, phone number
• Listing information — titles, descriptions, prices, photos
• Shop information — shop name, description, logo, banner
• WhatsApp number — so buyers can contact you

Information collected automatically:

• Device information, browser type, location data
• Usage analytics, page views, listing interactions
• Push notification tokens (only with your permission)

• Create and manage your account
• Display your listings on the marketplace
• Connect buyers with vendors via WhatsApp
• Send notifications about your listings and bookings
• Provide analytics about your shop performance
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform safety

💬 4. WhatsApp Communications

FindAm uses WhatsApp as the primary way for buyers and vendors to communicate. When a buyer clicks "Contact on WhatsApp":

• They are redirected to WhatsApp to message you directly
• We track the click for analytics but do NOT read your messages
• All conversations happen directly between you and the buyer

• Access — Request a copy of all your data
• Correction — Update your information at any time
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account
• Portability — Get your data in a readable format
• Objection — Opt out of non-essential data processing

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted)
• Passwords are never stored — we use Clerk for secure authentication
• Our database is encrypted at rest
• Images are stored securely on Cloudinary

FindAm is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
